It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

So since my last post we have been working full time on Christmas! This is my first season working on Christmas. I'm learning a lot of different techniques and loving it! Another plus is that I get to see so many beautiful homes around here that we install Christmas.

Before we skip over all the holidays I thought I would share my little Halloween wreath I made for Halloween. Which was also my first wreath I sold in two days after making it! I was pretty excited.
I also just made this garland to go with our snowflake tree designed by Melissa. Lets hope this sells as fast as the bats!

And here is the snowflake tree.

Another tree that everyone has really loved this year is the Vintage themed Christmas. Brings back some memories for a lot of people!

And the TV even works!

This is our largest tree on the showroom. A 12 foot tree on top of a pedestal which makes it about 15 to 16 feet. Makes things interesting decorating.

Just small piles of things to go on the tree......

All fluffed out an ready to decorate.

Second Step....meter balls

Add a train....

And Done!

Another fun project we have been working on is our outdoor displays for Christmas. This is just one of three doors for customers to get ideas for their own houses.

Close up of the wreath on the door.

These are some pictures from my very first Christmas install. I got to design this first one and the rest of the team put together the other two in the house!

This is a very fun and different tree that we installed just this week in another house! We like peppermint!

Not only have we been working on the inside of the store but we also have an amazing setup inside. Nelson designed this idea for a modern style Christmas display. It was pretty fun setting it up.

 And finally some fresh floral!

These first three arrangements are some that I did on my own. There are definitely perks to having access to extra flowers!
I love garden rose! You can never have too many!

This was for a small last minute party that Melissa and I made arrangements for. We were luck to have such beautiful blue hydrangea.

This arrangement designed by Melissa ended up being a fun delivery. We were driving on the sidewalks at the Salt Palace to find some secret entrance where a security guard was waiting for us. We never found him so we ended up having to go back the next day. But we definitely liked being able to break a few rules to deliver our flowers!

Yep....a few pedestrians were a bit concerned.
