I am finally getting to posting on this blog of mine.
Just a little background:
My name is Margaret and I am studying Floral Design Management at BYU - Idaho. I have completed one year of my degree so far and I love it! One of the requirements for my degree is completing an internship in your chosen field. I have always been interested in event planning and floral design. My teacher told me about a studio in Florida who did both, and that is how I ended up here in Tampa, Florida working at Botanica International Design Studio!
So for the next three months I will be documenting my experiences working as an intern. I have been here for about three weeks and I have enjoyed every minute! Everyone has been so welcoming and willing to answer my endless list of questions. I am really excited to see the whole process of putting together an event from start to finish. I can tell there is so much to learn from being here. These next few months are going to go by fast and I will be posting my weekly experiences here at Botanica.
I will be playing catch up this week and showing this week and the past three weeks of being here at Botanica. Hope you all enjoy!
